API Documentations
Authentication
Introduction
The Monieswitch API uses API tokens to authenticate requests. You can create and revoke SECRET_KEY tokens from your dashboard Also check out our guide for creating an API token.
Generally, we provide both public and secret keys.
- Public keys are meant to be used from your front-end when integrating using Monieswitch Checkout only.
- Secret keys are meant to be used from your backend server when integrating using Monieswitch API.
- Use environment variables to store your SECRET_KEY token.
- Never share your SECRET_KEY token in public, including repositories, and CI/CD Actions.
Authentication
Monieswitch uses Bearer authentication, and requires your SECRET_KEY token to be passed
with all protected requests in the Authorization
header:
Authorization: Bearer TOKEN
